01Who we are

This website and its text messaging (SMS) program are operated by Carrot LLC, doing business as WorkWand. WorkWand is a brand of Carrot LLC. In this policy, "WorkWand," "we," "us" and "our" mean Carrot LLC, doing business as WorkWand.

WorkWand builds and runs done-for-you automation for small businesses. That includes an AI speed-to-lead assistant, an AI receptionist with missed-call text-back, a review engine, Google Maps ranking work, quotes automation, back-office automation, websites and a reporting dashboard.

This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to workwand.ai, our forms, and the texts, calls and emails we send.

02What we collect

Information you give us

  • Your name, business name, email address and phone number, when you fill out a form or request a free audit.
  • What you tell us about your business, such as what takes up your team's time, the tools you use and how leads come in.
  • Messages you send us by email, text, phone or chat.
  • Whether you checked each text message consent box, and the date, time and page where you did it.

Business information for audits and services

  • Your business website, Google Business Profile, service area, public reviews and where you show up in Google Maps results. Much of this is public information.
  • Information you give us access to so we can do the work, such as accounts, calendars and contact lists.

Information collected automatically

  • Device and browser type, IP address, pages you visit, the page that sent you to us, and the date and time of your visit.
  • If we send you a personal proposal link, we see when it is opened, on what kind of device, how far it was read and which videos were played. We use this to follow up with you at a good time.
  • We collect this with cookies and similar tools. See "Cookies" below.

03How we use your information

  • To answer your audit request and schedule your audit.
  • To provide, run, fix and improve our services.
  • To send you texts and emails about your audit request, appointments, account and services.
  • To send you marketing texts, only if you checked the separate marketing consent box.
  • To send you marketing emails, which always include a way to unsubscribe.
  • To keep our website and systems secure and to prevent fraud and abuse.
  • To keep records of consent and opt-outs, and to meet our legal, tax and accounting duties.

04How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent it or trade it.

We share information only with service providers that help us run our business and deliver our services. They may use it only to do work for us. These include:

  • Our CRM and marketing platform (GoHighLevel, also called LeadConnector), which stores contacts and form entries and sends our texts, calls and emails.
  • Email delivery providers.
  • AI model providers that process text to power the assistants we build and run.
  • Google Maps data providers we use to check rankings.
  • Website and data hosting providers.

We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or merger of our business. Text messaging opt-in data is excluded from all of these, as described below.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

05Text messages (SMS)

You can choose to get text messages from WorkWand (a brand of Carrot LLC) by giving your phone number and checking a consent box on our form. There are two separate boxes. Both start unchecked and neither is required to submit the form.

  • Account and appointment texts: messages about your audit request, appointments and services.
  • Marketing texts: occasional offers and news about WorkWand services. Sent only if you checked the marketing box.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out. Reply HELP for help, or contact us using the details below. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchase.

06Data we handle for our client businesses

When a business hires WorkWand, our systems may text, call or email that business's leads and customers on its behalf. For example, the AI assistant may answer a new lead, or the review engine may ask a customer for a review.

  • In that role, we act as a service provider to the client business. We process its customer data only to provide our services to it.
  • The client business controls its customer data and decides how it is used. The client business is responsible for getting consent from its own customers before they are contacted.
  • If you got a message from a business that uses WorkWand, please contact that business with questions about your data. We will help it respond.
  • You can reply STOP to any text to stop getting texts from that number.

07Cookies

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. We and our service providers use cookies and similar tools to keep the website working, remember form entries and understand how visitors use the site.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work as well if you do.

08How long we keep information

We keep information as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy. That includes the time we work with you, plus the time we need to meet legal, tax and accounting duties and to settle disputes.

We keep records of text message consent and opt-outs as long as we need them to prove consent and to honor opt-out requests. When we no longer need information, we delete it or remove the details that identify you.

09Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect your information. We limit access to people and providers who need it to do their work. No website, system or transmission is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

10Your choices

  • Texts: reply STOP to any text message to opt out. Reply HELP for help.
  • Email: click the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
  • Your information: email us to ask what information we have about you, or to ask us to correct or delete it. We may need to confirm who you are first. We may keep some information when the law requires it, or to keep a record of your opt-out.
  • Cookies: block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

11Children

Our website and services are for businesses and adults. They are not meant for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn we have, we will delete it.

12Where we operate

WorkWand is based in Florida, in the United States, and serves businesses in the United States. If you visit from outside the United States, your information will be processed in the United States and in other places where our service providers operate.

13Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we will post a notice on our website.
